After more than 10 years working with Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company (Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park), with the enthusiasm of youth and creative passion, Mr. Tran Anh Thien has made many initiatives and technical improvements, there are technical innovations and improvements benefiting the company billions of VND each year.
After graduating from industrial electrical industry, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, Mr. Thien chose Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company to stick and contribute. At first, he was arranged to work in the workshop with the main task of supporting the workers reading the drawings. This is an opportunity for him to learn time, further research on transformers.
Besides the assigned task, Mr. Thien took advantage of self-study and self-research on transformers. With the spirit of inquisitive learning, in the first 1-2 years of his company, he was completely familiar with the structure, the assembly sequence and the names of the details and components that made up the transformer.
After only 4 years working directly under the workshop, at the end of 2013, Mr. Thien was transferred to become an engineer at the Design Department of Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company. From here, Mr. Thien has the opportunity to express his passion for creativity. Each year, he and his team produce about 5 initiatives, technical improvements, initiatives that benefit businesses billions of VND / year.
In particular, the initiative to design a successful 3-phase transformer line with a capacity of 100-2000 kVA standard: 62 / QD-EVN (ecotrans-silicon) contributes to reducing product costs, improving competitiveness. This year, businesses will benefit more than 4 billion VND / year, which will be deployed from 2019.
Sharing about this initiative, Mr. Thien said that in 2019, the company is preparing to launch a 3-phase transformer line with a capacity of 100 ÷ 2000 kVA standard: 62 / QD-EVN (ecotrans-silicon). Through drawing studies, he and his colleagues found that many details such as redundant design of unnecessary parts should have come up with the idea of re-calculating supplies and changing the structure of transformers to come up with a new design that is both economical and quality guaranteed to increase the competitiveness of the product. The idea to benefit the company should quickly be approved by the leader.
In order to create a final design that saves 7-10% of the materials compared to the original design, Mr. Thien and the Design Department engineers have had to experiment many times and take a lot of time and effort. However, thanks to his passion, research and research, Mr. Thien has contributed to creating a new design, helping the company save more than 4 billion VND / year.
Or like in 2018, he has the idea of improving the 3-phase transformer with a capacity of 100 ÷ 2000kVA, the standard: DLMN / 2608 Silicon Tole helps businesses save nearly 6.6 billion VNDs in supplies costs each year. According to Mr. Thien, at that time, this line of 3-phase transformers was being manufactured by the company. Looking at the actual statistics he saw a difference in supplies. For example, among 10 workers who work on winding, a long-experienced worker coils more tightly than a novice, so the number of supplies is less. In order to save materials at this stage, he proposed unified winding method. Besides, he also coordinated with technical department to provide standard techniques for workers based on it.
Mr. Thien’s initiative to use flexible cables for single-phase transformers in 2017 has contributed to shortening construction time, reducing the use of ice and wind, contributing to improving the working environment for workers. . Mr. Thien said that previously, single-phase transformers often used copper foil, used stone wind to weld into the coil. This job just takes time, does not guarantee occupational safety if careless. From this, he proposed to use a flexible cable that can press the ends of the wires and use screws to attach to the coil without affecting the product quality
With technical innovations and innovations, Mr. Tran Anh Thien has contributed to the development of the business and to the creative youth movement of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organization, recognized by businesses and organizations higher division. Mr. Thien was honored to be one of the four delegates of Dong Nai province to be honored at the National Young Workers Festival 2020.
