Workshop Solution to improve labor productivity for businesses

The Workshop on Solutions to improve labor productivity for businesses has been organized by the Provincial Business Association in collaboration with the Department of Planning and Investment of the province on the morning of April 28.

Attending the workshop were more than 150 businesses in the province. At the seminar, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung – Executive Director of Pathway Tue Duc International School, Director of KMI Institute of Knowledge Management, lecturer of Ho Chi Minh National University, who has more than 22 years Working experience in international high-tech companies, each managing ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 18000 and ISO 27000, R2, CTPAT, EICC systems.

Dr. Duong Tuan Anh – VNPT Director Thua Thien-Hue, Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, said the seminar aims to help businesses identify the current status of labor quality management and capture it. The most basic solution to increase labor productivity. The general situation of businesses in Thua Thien-Hue: is a small number, small scale, production and business capacity, quality of growth and competitiveness is still low compared to the region and the country; 99% are small and medium enterprises; the corporate management team has not been well trained, the quality and efficiency of corporate governance are not high, etc.

At the seminar, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung provided knowledge and causes for reducing labor productivity; methods and solutions to improve labor productivity through: System administration, governance based on VSM work values, standardized governance, etc to help businesses gain more knowledge and skills. Core thinking and awareness of management to improve the quality of the workforce in a modern business environment, in accordance with the requirements of the period of international economic integration.
