Vinacomin – Mining Science and Technology Institute tested and accepted coal mining technology research projects.

At the end of July 2020, the Institute of Mining Science and Technology held a grassroots acceptance meeting with 02 subjects: “Research and application of mechanization technology to exploit thick coal seams, steep to steep slopes in underground mines of TKV” and the project “Research on mechanized technology suitable for exploitation in conditions of medium thick seams, inclined slopes, cliffs, weak seams in underground mines in Mao Khe – Uong Bi region of TKV”.

The project “Research and application of mechanization technology to exploit thick coal seams, steep to steep slopes in the underground mines of TKV” by PhD. Cao Quoc Viet is the leader, focusing on researching the main contents, including: 1. Synthesize reserves and evaluate geological characteristics of thick coal seams, steep to steep slopes in the underground mines of the TKV; 2. Overview of experience in applying technology of exploiting thick and sloping seams at home and abroad; 3. To study and develop technology diagrams, propose synchronized mining mechanization equipment suitable to the conditions of thick coal seams, steep to steep slope in underground coal mines of TKV; 4. Comprehensive assessment of reserves in areas with favorable conditions for application of mining mechanization technology and planning a technology application roadmap for the period 2020 – 2025, with a vision to 2030.

The objective of the topic is to build a technology diagram and reasonable technical solutions, propose a suitable selection of suitable motorized equipment, as a basis for deployment into practice in order to improve production. energy, labor productivity and safety level in the exploitation of thick, steep and steeply steep coal seams in the underground mines of TKV.

Project: “Research on mechanized technology suitable for exploitation in conditions of medium thick seams, inclined slopes, cliffs, weak pillars in underground mines in Mao Khe – Uong Bi region of TKV” by PhD. Le Van Hau is the director, concentrating on researching 4 main contents, including: 1. Synthesize reserves and evaluate geological characteristics of areas exploiting the seams from a moderate to inclined slope with conditions of walls and pillars. weak seams in underground coal mines belonging to TKV; 2.Overview of experience in applying technology of exploiting medium-thick seams, from sloping to steep slopes, with weak walls and pillars at home and abroad; 3. Research and propose technology diagrams and synchronize mechanized mining equipment suitable for conditions in areas of medium thickness, sloping to steep slope with weak wall and pillars in pit mines. Mao Khe – Uong Bi area belongs to TKV; 4. Proposing a plan to apply the technology map to the underground mines in Mao Khe – Uong Bi region of TKV with suitable conditions.

The objective of the project is to propose a mechanized line suitable for mining medium thick coal seams, seams inclined to steep slopes, with weak walls and pillars to improve safety, output and energy. labor rate.

Both of the above topics were highly appreciated by the Acceptance Council for the urgency, full research focus, the quality of the proposed content, logical, scientific, reliable and applicable information. into practical production. Therefore, the Council agreed to take over at grassroots level these subjects.
