In order to improve the quality of workmanship for employees as well as efficiency and productivity for businesses, over time, Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union has promoted the emulation movements “Good labor, creative labor, etc”.

According to Mr. Thuong, in order to improve the gray matter content for each product and added value for enterprises, the trade union levels in the textile and garment industry must accompany enterprises on thinking innovation, improving adaptive capacity and improving improve skills, improve technology, invest in equipment and machinery. That requires the movement of labor competition in units, businesses must be promoted.

The results of the two recent years show that in 2017, the whole system had 1,083 topics and solutions applied to production, benefiting units and businesses of nearly 70 billion VND. In 2018, the whole system also had more than 2,100 typical projects, solutions, initiatives and improvements. Many topics are applied to production practices and bring high value to businesses.
