Vietnam Chemical Group: Efficiency from technical improvement solutions

Focus on investment, application of new scientific and technological research, technical improvements, and capacity enhancement in production has brought many benefits to the member enterprises of Vietnam Chemical Industry Group (Vinachem) in order to improve competitiveness before the integration requirements of the region and the World.

New technologies and advanced production equipment are delivered and applied at fertilizer, rubber and basic chemical enterprises.

Typically Lix Detergent Joint Stock Company with improved technology for manufacturing spray-drying laundry detergent. Liquid materials account for 30% at the stage of receiving materials automatically pumped from tanks and production workshops. Combining investment to synchronize all key equipment assemblies at the spray-drying stage to bring about stable and high-quality use efficiency.

With the remaining 70% of solid raw materials, representatives of Lix Company also recognized the assessment to propose a suitable solution. Accordingly, the company will invest in large material tanks from 100-200 m3, using inflatable to blow raw materials into the mixing area. This solution helps reduce operating labor, energy savings and packaging containing non-emissions materials.

At the packaging stage, Lix plans to invest an automatic conveyor powder into the packaging machine, using a robotic arm arange the box, rolling the box automatically, invest 1-2 main lines that have robots put  the box on  pallets to reduce labor and increase productivity.

The technical solutions have brought remarkable results: Gas consumption in washing-powder drying on average decreases by 15% / year, equivalent to 9% of production cost.

Besides, Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company (DRC) has also improved and achieved efficiency. Deploying the Master plan – designing – manufacturing – installing electric coal cable system at DRC tire factory. The solution uses a dehumidifier to separate the moisture in the air, which reduces the moisture in the coal storage from 70% to the desired level of 50-55%. Solution of designing, manufacturing and installing pneumatic automatic black coal pushing system from warehouse to 16 silos / day, reducing noise and dust, ensuring stable coal moisture, supplying enough coal according to request. With this system, it increases productivity 7 times, ensures stable production, improves tire quality, and saves energy equivalent to VND 947 million per year.
