Viet Duc Steel focuses on improving productivity and quality

Focus on improving productivity, ensuring product quality is the motto of Viet Duc Steel Joint Stock Company (VG PIPE). Thanks to this motto, Company has reached the export rate of over 50% of many fastidious markets such as Europe, USA, Germany, Australia, Canada and New Zeland.

Mr. Nguyen Huu The – General Director of the company shared that Company has constantly improved production technology such as investing modern production line of steel pipe, cold rolled corrugated iron sheet and galvanized iron sheet. Up to now, Viet Duc steel has expanded production, applying modern technology with 38 steel pipe production lines, slitting lines based on advanced technology of European countries and Japan with high rate of automation.

In order for system can operate well according to procedure, ensure standards and achieve productivity, the staff and workers are also professionally and methodically trained.

Immediately after ISO 9001: 2015 was officially issued, from the end of 2017, Company has quickly applied to replace ISO 9001: 2008. The 5S system is also applied by VG PIPE in production and management. As a result, production activities are highly effective, reducing costs, improving product quality that foreign partners are very interested in. Mr. Le Minh Hai – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Viet Duc Steel also affirmed that the timely change of quality management system helps Company to improve product quality and improve productivity.

In addition, Viet Duc Steel determined that customer is data of quality, so it always listens and comments to improve and innovate the best products to meet diverse needs from the domestic to the water market. The product distribution and customer care system is also invested in an advanced model. The barcode system used by the company helps customers choose the right product, this is to affirm the quality of VG PIPE’s products.

Thanks to the quality products, Viet Duc Steall have affirmed the prestige, brand and increased competitiveness in the domestic and international market. The top 4 enterprises producing and consuming the largest domestic steel pipes in Vietnam, the proportion of exports to the European market of over 50% is a worthy achievement that VG PIPE has achieved. Company was also honored to be awarded the Third Class Labor Medal by the State, the Emulation Mechanism and the Prime Minister’s Merit.
