Vicem Hoang Thach commissioned a new cement mill

The project of improving cement grinding capacity and cement silo was started by Vicem Hoang Thach in early June 2018 with a total investment of VND 1,356 billion.

Vicem Hoang Thach said that this business has just put into operation a trial load of cement grinding machines under the project “Improving the capacity of grinding cement and silo containing cement” and is expected to officially operate in 6 / 2020.

This project will help businesses take the initiative in consumption, increase productivity and business efficiency.

The project to improve the capacity of cement grinding and silo containing cement was started by Vicem Hoang Thach in early June 2018 with a total investment of 1,356 billion VND, a designed capacity of 1,700,000 tons of products / year, including: a vertical cement mill with a design capacity of 250 tons / hour, fineness ≥ 3,600 cm2 / g, dust concentration ≤ 30 mg / Nm3; a 5-compartment silo with a capacity of 30,000 tons; two automatic bagging machines.

The project is divided into 29 packages; in which, the main package provides the design, equipment, materials and technical services of the project provided by the contractor Loesche GmbH in the Federal Republic of Germany.

After about 23 months of construction and installation of equipment, Vicem Hoang Thach has put into operation the trial load of this cement mill to test, adjust the specifications and product quality.

When the project line goes into stable operation, Vicem Hoang Thach Cement will provide the market with about 6 million tons of cement per year; especially, contributing to reducing production costs, diversifying types of cement to meet the needs of the domestic market and export.

Vicem Hoang Thach new goals are striving that by 2021 will top the country on cement production and consumption, product and service quality with a total cement output of 6 million tons / year.

To achieve this goal, Vicem Hoang Thach has built specific plans and solutions. Accordingly, the furnaces 2 and 3 are improved, increasing productivity from 3,300 tons / day to 4,000 tons of clinker / day. Oven 1 is renovated in the direction of increasing productivity, reducing costs, saving resources, minimizing impact on the environment.

At the same time, businesses are always interested in applying scientific and technical advances, improving machinery and equipment; launch creative labor emulation movement, implement technical innovations, perfect management and operation processes to improve productivity, extend the operating time of equipment.

Currently, all 3 production lines of Vicem Hoang Thach always reach and exceed the design capacity.
