EBH-45 is a new generation excavator, designed to be multifunctional, suitable to the production area of the Vang Danh pit. In order to maximize the efficiency of equipment, the Vang Danh Coal Company has researched and installed additional transport bridges, synchronized with EBH-45 excavators. In the process of discounting, coal will be transported by conveyor, put on the bridge for transportation, to the wagon, the furnace worker is reduced to load, load and transport. Since putting this device into operation, K3 Workshop has reduced 2 direct employees in each kiln. On average, each day / night of production, the Workshop reduces 6 employees. In pit production conditions, the less labor, the more secure the job. This is also one of the important goals of TKV when it aims to build a modern, low-paying, high-paying mine.

After nearly a year using the EBH45 excavator, Vang Danh Coal reduced production costs. Based on the cost of 1m new excavator, the company saved 1.5 million. This cost is reinvested in production, further improving working conditions for workers.

Compared with the technology of digging and drilling by blasting and digging machines (speed of 75 m / month), the speed of digging by EBH-45 increased from 32.7 ÷ 47.7 m / month, respectively from 43, 6 ÷ 79.5%. The results applied at Vang Danh Coal Company recently showed that, despite the construction in coal seams with complicated geological conditions, the EBH – 45 machine has shown positive results.

The key economic and technical indicators such as speed, labor productivity, and cost of technology are better than the design as well as the technology of drilling and blasting with blasting and drilling in the same conditions. Besides, the level of safety and working conditions for employees has been significantly improved. On that basis, the Company proposes the Group to allow the Company to continue to expand the application of the road header technology using the EBH-45 roadheader at conditions where the kilns allow it. At the same time, consider replicating applied in another pit coal company in the Group with similar conditions to improve the level of mechanization and mining efficiency. It is expected that Vang Danh Coal will continue to put one more EBH-45 excavator into production, meeting the new 34,000m digging mission in 2020.
