Linking two FO oil supply systems of two units 300 and 330MW

According to the original design, the two FO oil supply systems of the two units were arranged completely independently of each other. The 300MW unit system uses a centrifugal pump to supply oil, while the 330MW unit uses a screw pump. During the operation, these two pumps had a case of failure, leading to the entire unit being shut down for about 20 days, waiting for foreign contractors to warranty and replace the new pump.

To solve this problem, officials at the plant after the survey and calculation process decided to connect the two oil supply systems of the two units. The selected connection point on the 300MW unit is after the valve to adjust the gable, the connection point on the 330MW unit is behind the oil heater. This connection will help 2 complete units can operate when the oil pump system goes down. The adjustment of flow and oil pressure on the supply pipeline will be adjusted by valve systems. This is an important backup solution for the units, ensuring the units can work continuously and stably during operation.

Upgrading the cooling water system of the Hydro modulation station

The hydrogen gas control station is designed to provide gas for both units, so if one of the two units is paused for maintenance, the station has to operate and water must always be cooled. station. However, the cooling water system in the unit and the gas processing station are designed in the form of a closed circuit. Therefore, when you want to stop one unit for maintenance, the supply of cooling water for the other unit and the gas processing station will have to be done by a separate water supply system, which causes power consumption. The solution that the factory officials implemented was to upgrade the piping system by connecting the cooling system of the gas processing station directly to the demineralized water tank and the after-cooling water circulation with a additional water pumps.

Electronic operating diary system

Previously, operating information of the plant was only recorded in the operating logbook. The retention of information by this method is easy to cause confusion, information loss and difficult to control and look up. Therefore, the plant’s officials built the electronic operating diary software. With this software, the storage and access of information will become easier, allowing plant leaders to fully operate the unit on business trips.
