With 17 years of experience working at United Sweethearts, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong has contributed to the automatic cutting machine operation department with many innovations, contributing to increasing labor productivity, saving manpower, time and costs for businesses.

As a veteran member, sticking with the company from the very beginning, Mr. Phuong always strives to work with a high sense of responsibility. He has used the experience and knowledge learned to find new directions, new methods to save resources as well as improve the production capacity of enterprises.

In 2018, United Sweethearts expanded its production scale through the addition of 30 sewing lines. Recognizing that human resources are not enough to meet and the manually supported operation will slow down the production schedule, Mr. Phuong has actively asked the Board of Directors to invest in automatic cut machines to improve production efficiency, the company approved and imported 2 automatic cut machines with the value of about 12 thousand USD / machine to replace the cutting machine.

This proposal has helped 30 new lines to remain effective with the current human resources conditions of the company. On the other side, the amount of dust and noise during sewing is also significantly reduced, the overall productivity is also improved.

Mr. Phuong was also the first volunteer to go to the automatic cutting machine operation class, then to take over the operation of the machine and guide the company’s employees. As a result, the sewing operation is maximum efficiency, saving a large cost for hiring foreign experts and engineers on the transfer of operational techniques. Along with the idea of replacing hand-cut machines with automatic cut machines, Mr. Phuong proposed the company to replace ordinary fabric treading machines with automatic fabric treading machines, etc., help improve production efficiency and product quality, bring high economic value to the company.

Sharing his views, Mr. Phuong said that in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 development as today, there will come a time when businesses no longer need unsigned workers. Therefore, self-innovation to have a firm foothold in the business is something that workers should aim for.

As a response to the spirit of continuous effort, Anh Phuong has become one of 4 typical examples of Dong Nai province awarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister for contributing to the development of the country’s technical workforce and met directly with Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc during the Prime Minister’s meeting high-tech workers at the end of 2019.
