Training course “Maintaining overall equipment performance – TPM solutions to reduce waste and improve production efficiency

In the morning of May 16, 2019, the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality – Department of Science and Technology of Quang Ngai province cooperated with Vietnam Productivity Institute to open the training course “Maintaining overall equipment efficiency – TPM solution reduce waste and improve production efficiency” to support businesses to improve productivity and quality.

Through the application of tools to improve quality productivity in production and business activities, Enterprises can better manage and optimize resources; gain knowledge of how to apply TPM to minimize waste and improve operational efficiency.

Participating in training courses are leaders of Department of Science and Technology; Quang Ngai Branch of Standards, Metrology and Quality; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thi, Director of Vietnam Productivity Institute – Branch in Da Nang and more than 60 students from enterprises in the province.

In 2 days, from 16/5/2019 to 17/5/2019, the trainees were introduced by the Director of Vietnam Productivity Institute – Da Nang Branch to introduce the basic contents of TPM, the concept of OEE, how to classify losses related to equipment, methods of determination, solving OEE calculation and measurement practice situations; broadening the pillars of TPM and guiding the implementation of the AM pillars and planning to implement TPM and AM; support tools to implement the AM pillar and share the actual situation of deploying TPM in businesses that are producing and trading.

This is a training course of the Quang Ngai Business Support Program to improve product and goods productivity and quality in the period 2016-2020 according to the Decision No. 1144 / QD-UBND dated June 28, 2016 of the Quang Ngai Provincial People’s Committee.
