Training and practice TPM at SVEAM company (VIKYNO & VINAPPRO)

TPM is a maintenance technique, including a new process defined to maintain plant’s machinery and equipment. The goal of the TPM program is to optimize maintenance operations in the plant, this help increasing production and increasing employee satisfaction with jobs.

At VIKYNO & VINAPPRO company (SVEAM), the goal of implementing TPM is to establish and monitor the OEE index of the machines. The implementation is piloted at the assembly line of the Mechanic Workshop 1.

On June 20, 2019 VIKYNO & VINAPPRO in collaboration with EPRO Consulting organized an assessment of the status of TPM application – Maintaining comprehensive productivity to meet the requirements of improving production and improving the capacity of the Company. This is an activity under the Support Program of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The evaluation session summarized the pillars that are being applied at the Covert Line, of the company’s Mechanical Workshop 1: Maintaining the 5S activities, as TPM’s platform (assessing the current status and improvement suggestions to maintain 5S better); Automotive pillar evaluation (AM) and Focus improved (FI) with 6 improvement at the hip flap chain; Maintenance pillar assessment is planned with improvements, changes to Maintenance forms.

At the end of the evaluation day, TPM staff (HR department, ISO, production and M&E staff had a meeting with consultants to summarize the achievements, and propose targets for 3 months) coming to achieve even greater efficiency from applying TPM.

After some months of application of TPM, the company has monitored OEE and MTTR indicators. The company has also registered to participate in the improved consultancy program of Samsung and the Ministry of Industry and Trade from 5/2019.

  • Start analyzing errors at the machine
  • Participation of many departments (Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, Human Resources, ISO).
