Training 5S and TPM at Dinh Moc Mechanical Company Limited

In the framework of the support program of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for Vietnamese industrial enterprises applying tools to improve productivity and quality, on July 2, 2020, EPRO Consulting Joint Stock Company – unit The consultant of the program conducted training on 5S and TPM for managers, technicians and workers of Dinh Moc Mechanical Company Limited.

Dinh Moc Mechanical Co., Ltd. registers to participate in the program Maintaining overall equipment performance TPM supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2020. During the survey, the consultant found to create a foundation for the development. In the near future, when declaring TPM, the Company needs to quickly perfect 5S good practices in the factory area.

On July 2, 2020, the Consultant staff trained 5S knowledge for more than 100 employees and employees of the company, trained 5S and TPM for 10 managers, technical staff, group leaders, and vice of cells, milling, assembling, warehouse, punching, welding and finishing.

5S training content takes place with 2 parts: theoretical training and game competitions related to the training content.

At the end of the training activities, the company leaders, members of the 5S-TPM committee and the consultant agreed to choose 3 areas, including: CNC machine room, turning and milling team, to pilot 5S implementation and Basic TPM. The company’s leaders wish to deploy 5S and TPM in all departments, but during the implementation period of 3-4 months and limited human and financial resources, the company decided to pilot. in some departments before and continue to expand to other areas in the future.

In addition to the desire to have a tidy, safe and reasonable working environment, the Company hopes to limit machinery failures and reduce product quality errors that lead to rework. In addition, company leaders are also aware of the importance of training activities, building a team of trained staff to continue to maintain and develop 5S, TPM in the post-project period.

In the next meeting, employees of 3 departments will implement 5S and operate in the self-managed maintenance pillar. Fault analysis activities, machine errors will be conducted in the next working sessions.
