Over the past years, TNG Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company (Thai Nguyen) has constantly innovated, focusing on increasing productivity, reducing waste by applying Technology 4.0 in corporate governance, so the business has achieved remarkable achievements.
In 2019, the Company increased the investment cost of 150 billion VND in TNG Dong Hy Garment Factory (Thai Nguyen) phase 1 with 16 sewing lines, bringing the total sewing lines of the company up to 252 lines. By the end of 2019, TNG has started TNG Vo Nhai Garment Factory, with a total investment of about 300 billion VND and a scale of 32 sewing lines, 16 sewing lines have been installed in advance and in the second quarter of 2020 will go into production.
Up to now, with 12 garment manufacturing factories, 2 auxiliary factories and 40 fashion stores nationwide, TNG has gradually asserted itself with the line of office fashion products. This is considered an important step of the Company to achieve the target of increasing the rate of domestic revenue by 10-15%.
Not only investing in construction and retrofitting modern machines, TNG also focuses on management to each division and affiliated factory, in order to achieve the goal of increasing productivity, saving costs to increase profits. TNG has developed and implemented an inventory management project by applying Technology 4.0 through a software that measures the time of each material in the warehouse. The cost of raw materials accounts for 50% of the cost, so even a small reduction will help the company greatly increase profits. Along with that, this textile enterprise also seeks to increase labor productivity by improving machinery and equipment and training people.
With a scale of up to nearly 17,000 employees, reducing waste and improving operational efficiency is inevitable. Accordingly, the solution given by TNG is to apply technology, emulation and commendation in staff work.
As one of the few garment enterprises that apply the 2-time scanning process of both sides of the product to ensure product safety at the highest level. This is considered as TNG’s own standard, aiming to improve customer satisfaction.
