Up to now, Mr. Khoi has been awarded the Creative Labor Diploma of Vietnam General Confederation 4 times

Initiative to benefit businesses 800 million / year

Mr. Vu Van Khoi (born in 1967, a native of Toan Thang commune, Tien Lang district, Hai Phong) is currently the Deputy Head of Equipment Maintenance – LS VINA Cable and System Joint Stock Company. 23 years working at the company, Mr. Khoi has contributed significantly to the development of the business through his suggestions, ideas and initiatives. Typically, the initiative “Improving cable drying rooms to install automatic supply and maintenance systems” in 2019, benefiting 800 million VND / year.

Mr. Khoi shared, LS Vina Cable and System Joint Stock Company produce all kinds of wires, low voltage, medium voltage, high voltage, high load resistant cables… All high voltage, high voltage cable products since 60 – 230kV, after being covered with 3 layers of plastic, it will be put into the closed cable drying room before being transferred to the next production stages.

Previously, in cable drying rooms, 6 radiators were provided with heat from steam of oil-fired boilers via steam piping systems. The control of temperature in the cable drying room is done manually when the operator closes or opens the hot steam valve.

“From the fact that this job takes time, effort and does not meet the requirements of temperature stability, waste of boiler fuel, I wonder how to stabilize the temperature in the drying room automatically, without subjective control of the operator. Only a few days later, the idea of ​​installing thermal sensors came into being” – Mr. Khoi said.

Thinking about doing it, Khoi proposed the idea and embarked on his initiative. The cable dryer is equipped with an additional temperature sensor for electrical connection to the control cabinet. The control of temperature in the cable drying room is fully automatic, when overheating, the steam supply valve is shut off, when the temperature drops, the water supply valve automatically closes, all displays are given by the control panel outside.

After more than 1 month of working, while taking advantage of the time to research, improve, his initiatives are applied in practice. With this initiative, operators check and follow at the control panel, not having to move much. The temperature in the drying room is always stable, limiting fuel loss.

People predestined with a creative Labor license

The initiative of “Improving cable drying rooms to install automatic supply and maintenance systems” is just one of dozens of initiatives and innovations that Mr. Khoi contributed during the process of working at the company. With this initiative, Mr. Khoi was honored to be awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, contributing to the achievement table 4 times to receive this noble award from the trade union organization.

In addition, in 2011, Mr. Vu Van Khoi was awarded the Certificate of Merit for outstanding achievements in labor and production by the Chairman of Hai Phong City People’s Committee. In 2018, Mr. Khoi were one of 70 union members and employees receiving the 3rd Nguyen Duc Canh Award of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 2018 for his outstanding achievements in the emulation movement “Good labor, creative labor”.

Mr. Khoi himself often helps, contributes ideas, encourages officials and workers to be active in initiatives, creativity, and improvement of irrational points in the daily work. Each year, the company receives nearly 1,000 ideas, initiatives, many high-application initiatives, bringing great economic efficiency up to billions of VND” As for Khoi, every degree of creative labor is a great spiritual gift, which is the impetus for him to constantly improve, create and contribute to the development of the company.
