Thai Nguyen enterprises: Innovation initiative in business

When referring to Mr. Pham Van Tien – construction machine operator workers everyone praised. He is one of the typical advanced initiatives that bring high efficiency to businesses in recent years.

As an operator with more than 14 years of work, Mr. Tien has been attached and exposed to most machinery at the construction. In the process, he always wondered how making the machine work to bring the most effective but safe for users. This was also his motivation to propose new improvements.

One of his most highly valued improvements was the use of work replacement was the use of work-replacement was in industrial sewer pipe fitting. This initiative was applied during the installation of a 47m road drainage system connecting The New National Highway 3 of Hanoi – Thai Nguyen with Samsung Electronics Industrial Complex in Yen Binh Industrial Park.

During the construction of this item, Mr. Tien’s group of workers needs to install 2m diameter sewer pipes, weighing nearly 10 tons to match each other to ensure the right position, the rubber gaskets must be tightly closed. The lifting of the sewer pipes had cranes, but adjusted for the mouth of the back tube to enter the mouth of the front tube and remained in place to help the two burn the sewer pipes jointly together to use manually. The workers directly, seven 2 burning sewer pipes match each other, very prone to labor accidents, low installation productivity despite having to use a lot of workers.

Before this fact, Mr. Tien had an initiative in using an out-of-the-way machine that needed long to manipulate. After preliminary installation of 2 burning sewer pipes together, the crane cable will be hooked into both adjacent sewer pipes and slightly lifted, combining the heater of the website with the correct operation.

Mr. Tien’s initiative has helped to reduce the risk of insecurity and labor; reduction of 4 construction workers compared to the application of the initiative; installation productivity reached 38-40 burn sewer pipes / shift (increased 400% labor productivity compared to before the initiative) and profit value reached 180 million / year. Mr. Le Tuan Anh, Deputy Director of Hoang Hai Construction and Trading Co., Ltd. said: Mr. Tien’s initiative is easy to apply, bringing safety to workers, increasing productivity should be appreciated by the Company’s Initiative Council. The company has widely applied in all similar items on the construction.

Not only good workers, Mr. Tien also actively participate in movements launched by trade unions at all levels. Mr. Tran Anh Tu, Chairman of Hoang Hai Construction and Trade Co., Ltd. said: Mr. Tien is very enthusiastic to participate in the activities of trade unions. I remember most that in 2017, Mr. Tien and his brothers in the company donated clothes and directly went to give to the man people in The Lead Mine 2, Cuc Tang commune. In the same year, he participated in home repair for Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Ty, in Phuc Xuan commune, Thai Nguyen Province.

Sharing his wishes in the future, Mr. Tien said: I will always try to have more technical innovations, how to make workers work in safer conditions and contribute to increasing productivity and business efficiency.
