Thach Bich mineral water plant maintains the application of quality productivity enhancement tools

Thach Bich Mineral Water Plant under Quang Ngai Sugar Joint Stock Company has successfully applied many innovative management systems and tools and has become a typical enterprise in the innovation movement in Quang Ngai.

At present, Thach Bich factory has applied the quality management system ISO 9001, good practice 5S, HALAL standard, and is gradually approaching other systems such as MFCA, HACCP, BSC-KPI, ERP.

Applying MFCA in the period of 2013-2014

In the period of 2013-2014, Thach Bich Mineral Water Plant participated in the implementation of the MFCA raw material flow cost management method (within the framework of the project “Promoting productivity and quality” under the Program Country “Improving productivity and quality of products and goods of Vietnamese enterprises to 2020.” The program was guided by the Center for Small and Medium Enterprises Development – SMEDEC 2 to guide the application of “Building a pilot model for applying MFCA cost management method”).

The results applied at Thach Bich Mineral Water Plant have reduced the percentage of broken bottles in the production process (from 0.32% to 0.14%), helping the plant to save 34,760 bottles / year, corresponding to the number of money saved is over 200 million dong.

Applying ISO 22000 from 2018

Thach Bich Mineral Water Factory has become a model that successfully applied the ISO 22000 food safety management system. The main activities in the ISO 22000 implementation process include: training for all ministries the company’s employees on ISO 22000; building a set of management system standards in accordance with ISO 22000 standards in accordance with the specific requirements for Thach Bich Mineral Water Plant. ISO 22000 at the company includes 52 processes, 104 instructions, GMP, SSOP and a HACCP plan; Assessment of the suitability of the management system.

Applying the successful management system ISO 22000 helps the factory operate effectively with safe quality products, becoming one of the strong brands in the beverage industry; help businesses assert product quality and at the same time operate production with high economic efficiency; Raising awareness of leaders as well as workers in the production process.
