Tay Ninh: Towards automation of production

Through projects to support the application of advanced machines and equipment in production, Tay Ninh Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consultant Center has helped rural industrial production establishments gradually changing mindsets, automating production, ensuring the environment protection.

From the national industrial promotion fund in 2018, the center has supported Bay Thom business households to invest in a dryer in rice paper production. This device can use 3 types of solar power, electricity, firewood to operate, so quite flexible in use and cost savings. The post-investment efficiency report of the beneficiary shows that the dryer helped to close the production process of the establishment, and the product quality was stable. Especially, regardless of the weather conditions, do not waste drying area, fast drying time from 15-30 minutes and only need 2-3 workers to operate the machine. Therefore, the establishment’s revenue is more stable and increases by about 10% compared to before the investment, ensuring food hygiene and safety.

Similarly, the center has assisted Hoang Phat Nghia Technology – Food Co., Ltd. to implement the project “Supporting the application of machines and equipment in the dryer production line”.

The device is a numerically controlled cutting machine with two processors, able to import data from external computers such as USB, CD-ROM and can be processed on mika, wood, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, plastic, etc. The machine is arranged with good water supply and drainage system so that no congestion or slow water flow occurs, the T-slot table is very convenient for mounting details when processing products. The idling function and the simulation of cutting products help users find errors on drawings before processing. After the project was completed, equipment and machinery operated stably helped businesses to increase productivity, product quality uniformly, and reduce production costs.

Above are 2 out of nearly 10 rural industry establishments encouraged by Tay Ninh industry encouragement to support the renovation of production machines and equipment in the past year. This is also the content that significantly attracts reciprocal capital from beneficiaries. Data from the Department of Industry and Trade of Tay Ninh also shows that, from 2014-2018, the center has supported the implementation of 32 projects on technology application, production innovation with a total budget of over 5.1 billion VND.

According to the representative of Tay Ninh Department of Industry and Trade, this is a direct support for production, bringing about fast and sustainable economic benefits to beneficiaries. However, due to the fact that most of the rural industry establishments are small and super small, the capital for technological innovation is small, the ability to access information about new equipment and machines is not high. Many establishments, although in need, do not meet the criteria for enjoying industrial promotion policies, etc.

In order to solve these difficulties, step by step modernizing rural industry production, the center will actively approach facilities that fully understand the needs and effectively support production development. Minimize the development of scattered and small programs and projects, focusing on projects related to other industries in the locality, in which continue to give priority to support enterprises to innovate and apply. Advanced technology, waste treatment, environmental pollution promotion to implement cleaner production program in industry.
