In 2004, after finishing high school, due to difficult family economic conditions, temporarily putting aside her dream to attend the university lecture hall, Ms. Le Thi Hong Gam applied to work as a sewing worker at Ha Quang Garment Factory. “At the beginning, I did not intend to work in the sewing industry. I just wanted to make money and pay for my education. At that time, during the day, I went to work as a sewing worker, in the evening, I went to economic secondary school to look for a more stable job later. But it seems that my number has to be linked to this profession and is predestined to this sewing profession”, Ms. Hong Gam shared.

After working for a long time, in 2007, with a diligent, intelligent and constantly learning nature, the game became a skilled tailor, entrusted by the factory leaders to assume the position of leader and until 2010 to hold the position of leader. In her new position, constantly innovating and promoting her own capacity, she and her research room have come up with innovative ideas and technical innovations to help workers increase labor productivity, reduce costs, time and the factory management put into application in production, benefiting the company hundreds of millions each year.

Introducing the initiatives of his and his colleagues applied at the factory, unable to hide the joy, Ms. Hong Gam said that the first initiative is “Manufacturing and assembling shoulders and shoulders behind the threaded loops” that was approved by the Board. After a period of application, the new initiative has brought positive results, contributing to speeding up the process, limiting errors in products and benefiting values ​​of over 17.6 million VND / item. Not stopping there, with many years of experience in the profession, Gam proposed to the enterprise “Create a separate mix pin with a hand doctor, send a sticky plastic to keep the sticky”. As a result, this initiative has been applied to the discount for checkerboard items, orders with mixed leaves left at hand have helped to increase labor productivity, benefiting nearly 80 million VND/ unit code.

Not only passionate about the work, as a leader of the Youth Union of the factory, Ms. Le Thi Hong Gam has actively researched and advised the grassroots Youth Union Executive Committee to implement revolutionary action movements, chapters, etc. submitted, recognized and appreciated by the Party committee. From 2018 up to now, the grassroots delegation has undertaken 3 constructions and youth work; constructing the “Youth tree line” project at the head office; mobilized more than 30 CPVs and trade union members to participate in voluntary blood donation; organize and join the entire population in collecting rubbish and clearing bushes to clean the living environment.

Understanding the difficulties and aspirations of the workers’ unions in the factory, Ms. Hong Gam constantly offers many solutions and activities to support the young workers and workers, not only improving their knowledge and understanding. also held meetings, exchanges football, table tennis, youth art gala, attracts the participation of many young people. Carrying out volunteer activities for community life, for social security, game has called for and mobilized organizations and individuals to support 20 gifts for disadvantaged workers hard; present gifts to children of cadres in the unit who have achieved excellent academic results.

Before the complicated situation of the Covid -19 epidemic, Ms. Hong Gam organized propaganda and education of the workers’ units proactively and actively implemented measures to prevent and control epidemics and protect the health of themselves and their families and the community, such as: wearing a mask, washing hands often with soap and germicidal water. In particular, she has consulted with the party committee, encouraged the ĐVTN to work overtime, and made cloth masks to distribute to people. Accordingly, through the program “Exchange of plastic waste for masks and disinfectant hand sanitizer”, more than 2,000 cloth masks and 500 bottles of antibacterial hand sanitizer were given to the people of Giao village Tea, Duc Ninh commune (Dong Hoi city).
