Besides direct impact methods and sources of error (people, equipment), there are many other indirect solutions that can significantly reduce defective products and errors during the manufacturing process. Here are some examples:

Improve management and communication skills

Accessories often appear when the ability to communicate between the stages of the production process has a problem. For example, if the engineering team makes a decision to change a part of a production machine to improve product quality, that information must immediately be transmitted to all stages of the supply chain. If the information is interrupted, it can cause a lot of damage to the company, such as old inventory, cannot be replaced and eventually become a by-product.

Save everything into the document

Standard operating procedures (SOPs), CAD drawings, and material invoices (BOMs) should be recorded as both digital and paper documents. This ensures that no by-products will appear as a result of confusion between new and old documents.
