VnPI’s quick survey of nearly 200 enterprises showed that enterprises often face some major difficulties such as lack of production materials, output products are backlog, labor scale down or labor productivity decreased markedly … Without appropriate and timely remedial solutions, the majority of businesses will not be able to stand.

“Surely things will change, more will be risky, countries, organizations or individuals will choose safety and health before employment and economic issues. However, in order to stay in this context, the business must meet 3 factors: Sharp thinking, fast action and high determination. As the Covid-19 outbreak exposed the strong expectations of the global supply chain, the fracture of the supply of raw materials from China and when the country restored supply, the phenomenon of freezing in the world’s consumer markets appeared. In this context, many businesses have developed strongly that are e-commerce businesses, manufacturing enterprises see opportunities in risk such as Dior, Chanel, Amazon sales channel or May 10 Company, Vingroup of Vietnam … timely divert production and business”, Ms. Vu Hong Dan shared.

According to Ms. Vu Hong Dan, to overcome the difficulty of thinking of business leaders must be sharp, flexible, everything is at risk and we must take risks as a normal thing in life. Deciding to cut costs? How to divert investment? Right now, businesses need to review the production and business environment both internally and externally. Constantly connect with customers to make timely adjustment decisions. Covid-19 epidemic helps us see the congestion, weaknesses in every business.

However, in order for the changes bring high results, businesses also need to analyze each stage, each field of production, the market, so that there is a specific solution. Enterprises must promote propaganda for employees to create consensus and attract the participation of all employees.

There are many productivity management tools, quality, corporate governance can help businesses identify risks, improve corporate governance, help businesses “overcome” this context such as: ISO 9001-2015, PEST, SWOT, FIVE FORCE, ISO 31000:2009, ERM risk management guidelines, DDP or related to customer management and development, CRM , CSM, QFD, etc.

Mr. Cao Hoang Long- School of Solutions Management and Innovation, VNPI said that from a macro perspective there are a number of issues that small and medium enterprises need to pay attention to are external impacts including broken production chains, limited import and export or EVFTA requirements on food hygiene and safety as well as technical barriers. While the internal impacts include issues such as production methods, quality management, delivery management, customer management, inventory management.

Therefore, enterprises need to establish medium and long-term for improving overall productivity, training to improve human resources for the receiving team as well as establishing the foundation of the production scene, focusing on single stages to reduce, reduce the operation of employees or help employees perform operations more easily , less costly Jewelry. At the same time, controlling the inventory as well as implement productivity improvement tools.
