Secoin received the 5S Good Practice Certificate

On May 25, 2018, Saigon Secoin Industrial Investment Joint Stock Company was honored to receive the 5S Good Practice Certificate. The score of 72/100 has partly recognized the efforts of the whole staff throughout the year of implementing the program.

The project to implement Japanese 5S program was started to apply at the factory system of Saigon Secoin Industrial Investment Joint Stock Company from the beginning of April 2017. With the characteristics of a construction material manufacturing industry where the basic raw materials are cement, sand, stone, etc. Secoin’s production system always faces difficulties in creating a clean production environment, neatly according to international standards. The 5S practice journey for Secoin team has initial stages which seem like countless difficulties and challenges that cannot be overcome. However, with the determination of the Company’s management, the continuous efforts of the management staff and the perseverance and hard work of each employee/worker in each department/workshop, and above all the enthusiastic and professional advice from VJQC Center and experts from Japan,

At the review of 5S practice program, when VJQC representative reported the results of implementation and showed the pictures of BEFORE (pictures of 12 months ago) & AFTER (current images), the officers themselves the Secoin staff and employees were also surprised by the great changes in each department/workshop.

Certification of 5S good practice is the basic foundation to create favorable conditions for Secoin in implementing other improvement programs and help Secoin to improve and develop day by day. In addition to awarding 5S Good Practice Practices to the Secoin team, VJQC Center and Secoin Board of Directors also praised individuals who have contributed positively to the success of the 5S good practice program.
