Schneider Electric develops smart distribution centers in Saudi Arabia

The Smart Distribution Center is a project that marks Schneider Electric’s commitment to the digitization program in Saudi Arabia. The center is made up of Schneider Electric’s EcostruxureTM platform to help plant operations run more efficiently and streamlined. Advanced digital technologies can be leveraged to support the industry on the path to integration and expansion of digital programs.

The Smart Distribution Center develops future agendas based on the power of Internet-connected device networks and intelligent manufacturing methods. The 6th UAE Center was opened in 2019 after the inauguration ceremony in Australia, China, Brazil, India and France. The supply chain digital platform 4.0 has adopted the Ecostruxure model in supply chain operations to provide integration and visibility to improve performance.

Becoming one of the four international-scale centers, smart delivery applications in the UAE not only shorten delivery time to customers but also optimize delivery services in the country. Schneider Electric’s most advanced Ecostruxure technology also offers a range of benefits in all segments of supply chain operations.
