Samsung strengthens its advice: Vietnamese businesses increase productivity by more than 97%

Samsung Vietnam for the first time conducted a delegate consultancy program, combining with the productivity and quality consultancy program for delegate businesses in Vietnam. Since 2015, Samsung has sent 10 Korean experts to directly support 60 Vietnamese enterprises.

On June 18, Samsung Vietnam and Ministry of Industry and Trade leaders made a visit, worked and evaluated the results of improved consultancy of Northern businesses.

CNC Tech is one of the enterprises that can participate in the delegate consultancy program with the support of Samsung Molds Center in addition to this year’s quality improvement consultancy program.

According to the leader of this business, after 3 months of consulting, CNC Tech has decreased 58% machining error rate, increased productivity by more than 97%, increased production plan accuracy, helped manage warehouse better and analytic losses due to inventory process.

Similarly, at Thien My Vinh Phuc Co., Ltd., this business representative said that Samsung’s improved advisory program has helped the company improve many aspects from the smallest problems such as eliminating transport waste and to stabilize Line through the use of trolleys.

Accordingly, the enterprise has improved every small detail such as repositioning the location of recording work to reduce 3 meter distance of moving, clear the moving line; 30% less time to replace the glue; Reducing costs and eliminating waste of plating wash water to save 4 million VND / month; beside, the Aeration noise reduction plate installation also provides an effective working environment.

This year, in addition to the consultancy program on improvement of productivity and quality, Samsung also combined to implement a mold consultancy program for mold making enterprises.

At the survey, Mr. Choi Joo Ho said: “I was very surprised by the results that Vietnamese businesses have achieved in the last 3 months. This year, we focused on consulting and supporting high-tech enterprises and plastic injection molds, especially implementing specific consulting for mold-making enterprise.

This process aims to improve the production process and improve the standards in the supply of products and components to enhance the capacity of Vietnamese enterprises to join the supply chain of components and accessories for Samsung.

Till now, the total number of Samsung suppliers has reached 308 enterprises. In which, the number of Vietnamese enterprises as level 1 suppliers has increased from 4 enterprises in 2014, 35 enterprises as of the end of 2018, expected to reach 50 enterprises by 2020.
