Survey results in Ho Chi Minh City show that businesses applied quality management systems achieve sales of 3-7 times more than non-applicable businesses.

Strong growth thanks to the application of a quality management system

Binh Minh Plastic is one of two businesses in Ho Chi Minh City who won the Gold Award of National Quality Award in 2017.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Deputy General Director of the Company, said to achieve this result, in many years, Binh Minh Plastics has constantly applied advanced and modern technologies in production. At the same time, the company has maintained productivity improvement tools and quality management systems TQM, ISO 9001; ISO 14000 environmental management system; tools KAIZEN, 5S … to improve productivity and product quality.

Thus, in the last 5 years, the company’s growth rate has always reached 16-18% per year. The company’s products are well received by both domestic and international markets.

Mr. Hai also said that this result comes from the efforts of the leadership and employees as well as the companion of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Standards and Quality (hereinafter referred to as the Department). With the support of the Department in documenting and making recommendations on improving the quality management system, Binh Minh Plastic has won the Gold Award right from the first time participating in the National Quality Award.

About 70% of businesses in Ho Chi Minh City have high quality productivity

In the time of global integration and fierce competition between businesses, the application of management systems and tools to improve quality and productivity are solutions to help businesses improve product quality to meet customers’ needs, enhancing the position and reputation and image of businesses in the market.
