Production of 100% automation solar cells

Irex has just launched a factory using modern equipment, automation, which helps increase productivity and save time.

After one year of construction, the first phase of the Irex high-tech renewable energy factory complex went into operation in June in Ba Ria – Vung Tau. The complex includes a 500 MWp solar cell factory, a heat-absorbing sheet factory and a renewable energy product research and development center. The entire production process uses a modern, 100% automated production line.

The representative of the company said that the highlight of the line is the ability to automate manual tasks, significantly reduce physical errors, and save time, produce faster and more quality products.

In addition, the company imports a Double Glass Machine system that allows creating double-sided glass panels according to each customer’s individual requirements. This is one of the latest lines in the world today.

All the company’s products from photovoltaic cells to solar panels meet the US and European testing standards such as IEC IEC 61730, 61215, UL 1703.

Currently, the company continues to expand the second phase of the plant complex project, including building a research room, a heat absorbing sheet manufacturing area and expanding the capacity of solar battery factory.

“Our goal is to achieve Tier 1 standards in clean energy production by 2020,” said Pham Thi Thu Trang, director of research and development of energy company Irex.

In 2018 alone, the company aims to grow its revenue three times last year. In which, the export solar energy capacity is expected to reach 100 MWp for solar cells and 60 MW for photovoltaic cells (solar cells).

Irex Energy Joint Stock Company was established in 2012, a member of the Polytechnic Solar Group (SolarBK Holdings). The company now provides solar power solutions for both domestic and export markets with a steady increase in revenue across countries. In 2017, revenue tripled compared to 2016, in which 90% of income came from exports.
