Positive result thanks to technique innovation

FUTU1 JSC has achieved great success thanks to actively improving technology, equipping modern machines to improve product quality and labour productivity.

Productivity increases twice

FUTU1 is an enterprise specializing in the production of equipment and spare parts for engines and agricultural machines, in which motorbike accessories account for 80% of industrial production revenue. The company has created products with stable quality to supply to customers such as Yamaha, Toyota, Honda, Atsumitec, Piaggio, etc. In 2017, the profitability of FUTU1 remains high. The best basic earnings index on stocks in 2016 in joint stock companies under Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation (VEAM).

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien, Director of FUTU1 said that the company payed special attention to innovating equipment and technology, gradually replacing universal machines with digital machines to produce high-precision products, reducing dependence on skilled workers. The company has about 700 equipment, of which digital machines account for over 50%. Technological innovation has helped the company improve productivity and product quality.

FUTU1 currently has 10 workshops, most of which are equipped with advanced and modern machines. In particular, all semi-automatic milling machines for manufacturing motorbike parts and accessories have been replaced by CNC digital gear milling machines specialized in machining gears. As a result, the quality of the product is superior in terms of gloss as well as accuracy, productivity is doubled compared to semi-automatic machines, the working environment of workers is guaranteed. Meanwhile, CNC machines with very fast acceleration and stopping ability have reduced the time to produce components.

Improve the quality of human resources

In order to operate machines with advanced technology, more than 1,300 officers, engineers and workers of FUTU1 are technically trained in operating CNC machines.

According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien, the company’s investment in modern machinery, equipment and technology requires workers to constantly improve their skills, comply with standards and regulations under the quality management system, environment and energy management system and labor safety regulations. Besides applying quality management tools, for nearly 10 years, FUTU1 has actively applied 5S throughout the company.

Thus, equipment and machinery are re-arranged neatly and scientifically, facilitating workers in operation, contributing to minimizing manpower, space, capital and time to limit poor products, etc. The results of applying 5S principles showed that the limitations in the work were reduced, the arising problems were discovered early and solved by the Board of Directors.

Thanks to continuous improvement of technique and technology, in 2017, FUTU1 actively put advanced and modern management tools into corporate governance (ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, ISO 50001: 2011, IATF 16949, etc.), producing and supplying to the market more than 32 million products: Supap, hydraulic gearbox, motorbike spare parts, etc. (increasing by 2 million products compared to 2016); providing all kinds of components for 15 partners (up 10 partners compared to 2014).
