With a special unit of producing chemicals, plant protection drugs, insecticides, bactericides, etc, which are inherent many toxic factors and fire risks, safety and quality objectives have become “survival” target of Nong Viet Chemical Joint Stock Company in the process of development.

In the course of chemical production activities, the Company determined that the work of occupational safety and sanitation must be put first, with the motto “Safe to produce – Produce must be safe”. From the beginning of 2019, the Nong Viet leadership has conducted research and prepared a plan to deploy the Management System of Occupational Safety and Health with the help of experts from Management and Development Consultancy Co., Ltd. Asian businesses (AHEAD). This is also a project within the framework of the mission “Supporting the pilot application of OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 occupational safety management system for industrial enterprises” under the project “Advanced productivity and product quality, industry goods of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Immediately after registering to participate in the support program, Nong Viet Chemical Joint Stock Company quickly established the apparatus for safety work from the Factory to production teams and teams. There is a safety net at all units. Each team and every production team has members of a safety net. Members of the safety net regularly receive in-depth training and training in occupational safety and health knowledge, and they have played a key role, regularly checking and reminding. Directors of employees in their teams, shifts and crews strictly implement the processes and regulations on occupational safety and sanitation.

The company has cooperated with AHEAD consultants to synchronously deploy many solutions to ensure safety and health for employees, including: building a comprehensive risk assessment process and program in the entire Company, fully equipped with the necessary equipment to be able to respond promptly when an incident occurs, to set strict regulations on safety for all parts and be maintained, check regularly. In addition, the regime for employees is also checked, ensuring that 100% of the employees at the Company are guaranteed health insurance, social insurance and periodic health checks, fully equipped with labor protection.

In order to help employees regularly update general regulations on occupational safety and fire prevention, AHEAD consultancy organized 2 training courses to improve occupational safety and health knowledge. The Board of Directors of the Company also regularly propagates occupational safety and health by popularizing experiences in accidents in the chemical industry; hanging pictures and pictures of risks and labor insecurity as well as measures to control harmful and hazardous factors at the workplace; warnings about labor accidents and occupational diseases; disseminating good practices, good management models, with high efficiency on occupational safety and health.

With the initiative in labor safety, fire and explosion prevention is always actively and actively prevented by the Plant. The company has established fire prevention and fighting committees, teams, flood and storm prevention teams, members of emergency response teams were sent to train outside and be certified.

Thanks to the good implementation of policies on occupational safety and health, from 2019, Nong Viet Chemical Joint Stock Company has not had any labor accidents or incidents affecting the environment.
