During the period from June to September 2020, the company participated in the TPM program supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and achieved many positive results.

Over the years, Phong Nam Co., Ltd. has had experience participating in many state support programs, so the company quickly catches up when implementing the TPM program.

Before starting to implement the program, Consultants and company leaders agreed to apply and deploy the technical content of TPM’s 3 pillars, including: Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Planning Maintenance (PM) ), key improvement (FI) at the 500H plastic making machine with the goal of building and maintaining a management system that incorporates the responsibility of operators and equipment maintainers, bringing about overall efficiency at area of ​​application, obtained certification by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

During the first 2 working sessions on the content of self-managed maintenance, the consultant together with the company’s personnel identified 16 unusual problems at 500H plastic making machine related to safety, failure at the equipment, from there proceeding. An innovation group formed with the goal of reducing mold replacement time at the 500H plastic making machine has saved 50% of the mold replacement time from 3:10 minutes to 1 hour 35 minutes.

On the planned maintenance pillar, the maintenance department has standardized a number of planned maintenance activities on the 500H machine, developed spare parts and spare parts, and a maintenance plan. , loss analysis and equipment tag analysis.

In the coming time, the company plans to continue monitoring OEE to continuously find losses and waste to continuously improve. The TPM program at Phong Nam Company has brought many good results for businesses and is highly scalable for equipment and other areas of the plant.
