In the morning of January 27, 2018 at the Company’s Office, Petrolimex Aviation Fuel Joint Stock Company officially launched the 5S – Kaizen good practice program. Attending the launching ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Hoc – Member of the BOD, Deputy General Director of the Company, Standing Deputy Chairman of ISO & 5S Steering Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son – Deputy General Director of the Company, Head of 5S implementation sub-office of the Company; Mr. Tran Thanh Long – Deputy General Director of the Company and all employees working at the Company’s office – 229 Tay Son, Dong Da, Hanoi.
At the beginning of the program, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son – Deputy General Director of the Company, Head of the 5S Office Subcommittee of the Company stated clearly the importance of implementing and maintaining 5S practice at the Company’s Office. 5S is a management method to improve productivity, service quality, improve the environment and working conditions, etc.
In order for all employees to understand, master and effectively implement the 5S program, Mr. Ngo Minh Tu – Head of Safety and Security Division, Standing Committee of 5S Office of the Company presented the specific contents in the development work. 5S declaration in the near future includes Regulations for implementing 5S at Company Office such as Screening (S1), Arrangement (S2), Cleanliness (S3), Caring (S4), Ready (S5); uniform on stationery, document positioning label, color code distinguishing between departments.
In the role of a support consultant, at the ceremony, Mr. Le Minh Tam – Chief Consultant, Deputy Director of the Center for Standards, Metrology and Quality Training (QTC) shared his experiences to practice current as well as maintain 5S well at the Company’s Office.
With the witness of the Board of Directors, the Leaders of the Departments have signed a commitment to implement and maintain good 5S practices at the Company’s Office with the following main contents: Completing the work Screening, arranging documents, files, personal equipment of the Department before February 12, 2018; Appreciate and maintain the Regulations for regular 5S implementation; Conduct regular inspection and follow-up of 5S good practices in responsible areas; The Departments actively implement and maintain 5S in their respective Departments, voluntarily comply with the 5S Implementation Regulations to benefit not only each individual but the entire Office of the Company.
