On December 2016, PC Quang Ninh was officially granted the certificate of 5S Good Practice by Vietnam Institute of Productivity; officials and employees (employees) of departments, professional departments and electricity companies under the company have understood the meaning and importance of maintaining good implementation of 5S in production and business activities. In the working rooms, equipment is arranged neatly and neatly; network wiring, power cables for working equipment are neatly arranged etc. At the office of the company and the electricity, there is a convenient parking place for employees and customers to conduct transactions at the single taste.

With the synchronous participation of local authorities, network operators in the area, the power grid embellishment has achieved encouraging results. Specifically, the company implemented 1.281/2.378 transformer stations (TBA) for distribution (53.87%), the main implementation contents: Concrete concrete substation, convenient access road to the station with aisles, no the meter hangs the station column, no information line goes on the station floor, the lines are neatly bundled in the HDPE pipe, the exit lines have the name of the route as prescribed; 1033.17/2998.68 km medium voltage line (34.45%) etc. Implementing 715.15/10102.08 km of low-voltage transmission line (7.1%) with the main implementation contents: The corridor of alignment is cleared; positions of electric poles are removed with billboards, repainted and numbered according to regulations; Clean the column head clean, no redundant cable winding on the column top or wrap around the pole; The rope in and out of the meter is neatly bundled. At the same time, coordinate with telecommunication units to check and handle and remove all kinds of telecommunication cables; organization of separation of telecom cables in hanging walls, cables attached with clear and recognizable nameplate.

Promote 5S implementation

Mr. Vu Dinh Tan – Deputy Director, Head of 5S PC Quang Ninh Steering Committee – said: Through the assessment, we found that the power grid embellishment is not only a tightening of telecommunication cables, embellishing lower lines. However, it is necessary to synchronize from the design, approval, pre-acceptance test of new projects, repair of old works, etc. At the same time, maintain regular management, according to standards and regulations and must have the criteria for evaluating specific grading. At the same time, at each district/city/town’s electricity, select at least one substation, the line is a pilot model for a wide base.

The assessment and scoring results of 5S implementation were introduced by the company, becoming one of the criteria for Quang Ninh PC to evaluate the completion of work in the year and consider rewarding. At the same time, the trade union of the company also coordinated the expertise to organize many steering meetings, tasked with trade unions to coordinate their expertise, the youth union implemented the power grid, urged and inspected check, evaluate the program implementation.

In 2019, Quang Ninh PC continues to build 5S criteria for 110kV stations, and scoreboards to implement the criteria and implement 5S at 17 TBA 110 kV. It is expected that by the end of 2019, 100% of PP substations will be completed, the stations will be fitted with insulators of high-voltage elements; 100% medium voltage lines, 50% low voltage lines. By 2020, to complete the work of 5S the entire electricity network of Quang Ninh province, according to the criteria set by the corporation.
