Opening the training course “Black Lean Six Sigma belt” organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade

On 13-14/6/2020, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has collaborated with the Institute of Productivity (VNPI) to organize the training course “the Black Belt This is a training course under the project “Improving productivity and quality of products, commodity industry” with the course of the process through the basic knowledge of LSS to the advanced tools of LSS Green belt and black belt in accordance with international standards.

The training course was organized with the participation of lecturers with nearly 20 years of experience working as head of Black Belt, managing the improvement projects on Lean Six Sigma at LG, Microsoft Mobile Vietnam and successful consulting for many large enterprises in Vietnam. In addition to theoretical knowledge, students are required to directly implement the 01 LSS improvement Project at the point-of-choice VNPI enterprise. In addition, students are offered and used free of software to contribute to learning and to work more efficiently.

With the black belt level – this is the destination for many people when LSS specialists are considered the nucleus of the LSS innovation program. Black Belt specialist with a mission to advise and steer the green belt to choose the optimal solutions, combining the same green belts in large improvement projects, influential at the enterprise level. The success of the innovative programs under Lean Six Sigma in the enterprise shows the important role of black belt specialist LSS.

Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is a management model that combines Lean management principles with Six Sigma methods. Lean helps to minimize waste and shorten production cycles from the start, while Six Sigma focuses on tweaking the process accurately. This model helps businesses to proactively detect, minimize waste, and fluctuations in the service delivery process, optimize value for customers, shorten supply time to ensure outstanding competitiveness and sustainable growth.

Hoping for knowledge and practical activities after 02 months of training, students will have the capacity to build and operate Lean Six SIGMA program for the organization and have the capacity to lead, manage and support all Lean Six Sigma project levels.
