The company has planned and accurately calculated the stage in accordance with the production schedule, minimizing raw materials, inventory. Enterprise 2 (where Lean is applied) also saves costs in management, increases productivity, quality, and reduces product costs. Thanks to Lean application, the system productivity of Nha Be Garment Corporation – JSC has increased by more than 20%, reduced working hours 1 hour / day for workers, reduced inventory from 30 products to 3 products. Error decreased from 20% to less than 3%, employee income increased from 10-15%.
If before each garment product had one person in charge of fabric cutting, now applying Lean there is only one person in charge of this for product groups. While the ordinary sewing line is always busy, but with low efficiency, the Lean-applied sewing line significantly eliminates waste, helping businesses save costs, increase productivity, reduce working hours, and increase income for employees, thereby improving the competitiveness of businesses in the market.
To reap high efficiency from Lean, the first important factor is that the leader must be determined and drastically implemented. Ms. Huynh Thi Ngoc Ha – Director of Zone I shared: “During the operation, it requires a lot of technical improvements, exploring solutions to change some design details, machinery, equipment, the solution has improved product quality to meet announced standards, reduced time between operations, saved time and costs, increased economic efficiency of the unit.
