At PV GAS, the emulation of creative labor is always appreciated and seen as a lever to promote production and business. Some typical initiatives, such as: “Solution to supply Permeate Gas from Ca Mau GPP to Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant” of Ca Mau Gas Company and Gas Project Management Consulting Company. The successful application of this initiative has helped avoid burning, causing waste of environmental pollution, increasing annual revenue for PV GAS to 63 billion VND and profit of 9.5 billion VND.
Or the initiative “Solution to compensate for wet gas from Nam Con Son gas source to Dinh Co GPP”, helping to maintain maximum gas flow through Dinh Co GPP as designed in the condition of Cuu Long low-shore gas source has helped increase profit increase for PV GAS in 2018 is 8.5 million USD and in 2019 about 13.5 million USD. This is also a specially recognized initiative of PV GAS and is being submitted for recognition of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group’s initiative.
Another typical initiative is the solution “Upgrading the existing control system to bring the project of gas delivery point No.2 into operation” of the group of engineers at Nam Con Son Gas Pipeline Company (NCSP). This solution not only brings high economic efficiency such as cost savings for PV GAS by tens of billions of dong from cost reduction when hiring foreign experts, but also helps proactively in progress, bringing projects into operating earlier than expected, thereby increasing revenue and economic benefits of millions of dollars for the company and its partners, etc.
Encourage development
At PV GAS, even small initiatives are also appreciated, encouraged and promptly praised. This helps the movement of innovation, creation, and rationalization of production become closer, deeply developed, and instilled into each employee.
Accordingly, the PV GAS union has established an Innovation Initiative Committee to launch and maintain the innovation movement throughout the corporation; at the same time, proactively coordinating with the functional boards to develop and apply regulations and software to receive ideas and ideas; support the implementation of ideas and put them into practice in practice. New, innovative ideas are rewarded. The possible ideas are supported, facilitating application in practice into initiatives.
Along with efforts to create favorable conditions for employees to promote initiatives and innovations, PV GAS ‘Board of Directors also called on officials, employees, and employees to continue to study, improve knowledge and work. technicians to meet the increasingly high job requirements, etc.
In order to form practical efficiency, towards great innovations, PV GAS ‘officers and employees are still making efforts to improve their working environment with small initiatives every day. Thereby contributing to increasing management efficiency, increasing labor productivity, saving costs, improving product quality, making practical contributions to PV GAS’s sustainable development.
In the 2016-2018 period, PV GAS has a total of 561 unit-level accreditation initiatives, of which 178 initiatives are recognized at the Corporation level and 10 recognized at the level of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group; with profit of over 806 billion dong, equivalent to more than 35 million USD.
