MDF VRG Quang Tri: Improving competitiveness thanks to technology innovation

VRG Quang Tri MDF Wood Joint Stock Company is a member unit of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group, was established on November 25, 2005 with the main manufacturing and exporting industries of MDF boards of all kinds, such as: MDF E2, MDF E1, MDF Carb-P2, HMR MDF, HDF, MDF covered with Melamine. Quang Tri MDF Wood Joint Stock Company is proud to be the first unit to export MDF boards to international markets such as India, Philippines, Singapore, Middle East, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, etc.

In 2015, the factory operated under continuous pressing technology – an advanced technology transferred from the Federal Republic of Germany. This is the first technology in the world to produce MDF board from Melaleuca wood. The main products of the factory are MDF, HDF, LDF, HMR boards; meet Japanese E0 – E2, CARB P2, JIS standards; with thickness from 2.5mm to 30mm, various sizes, meeting domestic and foreign market needs.

In 2017, the VRG Quang Tri MDF Wood Joint Stock Company continued to bring 2 modern European machinery with a capacity of 120,000 m3 of products / year, with an investment of nearly 1,397 billion VND. The decision to invest in modern machinery has just launched the first European-quality plywood product.

This is also the largest MDF wood factory in the Central region, invested in advanced European technology. Not only increasing the capacity of the whole company to 180,000 m3 / year, but also affirming the right direction of the Board of Directors in implementing product diversification. Line 2, when put into operation, has increased the total output of raw materials, wood to 400 thousand tons / year, bringing the growth rate to more than 300%, the turnover of more than 1,300 billion VND / year, contributing to the State budget 75 billion / year, creating jobs for 2,500 local workers.
