From 2012 to 2014, he had the initiative to design specialized tools to open the nozzle of the Gasturbine units and the initiative to design the IGV wings of Gasturbine units when repairing. These initiatives help save time and labor during the major repairs. Previously, this job required from two to three workers, now only needs one person in charge, and halving labor time. In 2015, he took the initiative to design a specialized mold set to cut the mechanical seal of the compressor control machine of the S4 unit. This initiative reduces the average time required for cutting a mechanical buffer by more than half, increasing the precision and uniformity of the mechanical seal being cut.

Or as an initiative to create sediment dredging equipment at the border gate of S4 unit circulation pump. The dredging of alluvium and silt blocking the flow of river water into the circulation pump of S4 units will ensure sufficient water supply for S4 units to operate safely. Another initiative has been applied to manufacture specialized tools to install the piston compressors that control the units of the S4 unit when repairing, helping to ensure the safety of equipment when removing and avoiding damage. supplies when installing, and avoid the case of removing the device due to the damaged material process. Thereby, helping to save time and costs during the repair process.

Besides professional work, the young party member is also an exemplary leader in the youth activities and movement. As a member of the Executive Committee of the grassroots level of Electricity Generation Corporation 2, the secretary of the branch of Thermal mechanical repair workshop, Nghia has always actively participated in activities towards the benefit of the community. Over the past four years, taking advantage of weekends, he and his youth union members and workers have actively participated in renovating the electricity system for poor households. Currently, Nghia and his colleagues are implementing the plan of repairing and installing electricity for poor people in Phuoc Thoi ward, O Mon district so that people can use electricity safely during Tet. He also participates in many other volunteer activities at the company.

The pioneering and exemplary character of Nghia is reflected in the spirit of self-study and self-training, in order to improve professional qualifications, professional skills and job skills to meet job requirements. After working hours, every night, he regularly goes to class to attend a university transfer course specializing in mechatronics Engineering at Can Tho University of Technology and Technology.
