Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Lang Son province has implemented many activities to support production and business enterprises in the province to improve productivity, quality, and enhance competitiveness in the market. The promotion of productivity improvement tools and the quality of technological innovations applied in production must meet the requirements of the current industrialization and modernization era.

Implementing the project “Improving productivity, quality of products, goods and services of enterprises in Lang Son province in the period of 2012-2020”, Department of Science and Technology of Lang Son province is the advisory agency. The provincial People’s Committee has actively promoted many consultancy activities, supporting the development of models and tools to improve productivity and quality to businesses, etc in order to create a clear change in productivity and quality of key products and goods, the competitiveness of enterprises, contributing positively to the socio-economic development of the country.

Deployed from 2014 up to now, through consultancy, communication, awareness of the important role of quality productivity in the development and integration of state management agencies, enterprises and people. Consumption has been raised. Promote enterprises to apply scientific and technical advances and renew technologies and equipment in exploitation, preliminary processing, preservation and processing to raise productivity and product quality, and raise efficiency of production activities, improve the competitiveness of goods produced locally. Currently, the province has nearly 20 enterprises supported from applying projects of productivity and quality.

In 2018, in order to further improve the efficiency of the project Productivity and quality, the provincial People’s Committee decided to approve and adjust additional support objects of the project. Supplement content to support businesses and cooperatives in activities of establishing intellectual property rights, developing brands, building trademarks, barcodes, and national quality awards; training, guiding the application and practice of tools to improve productivity, quality, build Vietgap, Globalgap, etc.
