In recent years, Khanh Hoa Industry and Trade has had many policies to support enterprises and production facilities to improve technology. Particularly in 2019, Khanh Hoa Industry and Trade has invested more than 1.5 billion VND in this activity.
In which, it is noteworthy that the industrial promotion project “Application of advanced machinery and equipment to produce B40 nets” of business household Nguyen Le Huyen Trang (A Thi village, Ba Cluster Bac commune, Khanh Son district) with the support level support VND 115.2 million; Project “Application of advanced machinery and equipment to produce non-block bricks” of Hung Phat Khanh Vinh private enterprise (group 7, Khanh Vinh town, Khanh Vinh district) was supported VND 90 million. Financial support is not much, but it has helped the units boldly invest in more machinery and equipment, expand production, and increase competitiveness.
Evaluating the efficiency of industrial promotion projects, Mr. Cap Van Ha – Chairman of the Board of Directors, cum Director of Nam Viet Biological Technology Joint Stock Company (Dien Phu Industrial Cluster, Dien Khanh District) said that: “Thanks to the support from industrial promotion funding, small and medium enterprises have the opportunity to change production lines, invest more in machinery to create more quality products, to meet the requirements of the market. The investment source has not met all the needs of enterprises, but partly motivates the unit to develop, improve production capacity and increase competitiveness for products”.
Mr. Le Hoang Tho – Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Industry and Trade said: Enterprises supported for industrial promotion invest mainly in production lines, renovate technological equipment to meet domestic and external market needs. In fact, the State’s support combined with the investment of companies, production and business establishments is bringing about very positive results. Most businesses are able to develop their brands, create jobs for local workers as well as contribute to the budget.
However, according to Mr. Nguyen Sanh Duong – Director of the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion of the province, Head of Industry Department of Khanh Hoa Department of Industry and Trade, the current funding source for industrial promotion is only partially meeting the needs of For businesses, there are still many businesses wanting to receive support from the program, but because the capital is limited, in order to receive the support, businesses must meet certain conditions. In particular, industrial promotion activities have not been able to mobilize financial contributions from organizations and individuals in society, but mainly rely on the state budget.
