Investment in equipment to created a big turning point

With the goal and mission of providing consumers with high quality and environmentally friendly products of bricks, tiles, baked clay, and tiles, for many years Viglacera Ha Long Joint Stock Company, with a history of 35 years of development, always promotes the spirit of creativity, solidarity and endless endeavors.

Up to now, the factory has become a company with a tradition, long experience in the field of clay brick production by industrial methods and is also the leading unit in the industry group in Vietnam to meet the requirements market. Currently, the plant is operating stably 04 tunnels kilns with an operating capacity of 260 million QTC / year, exceeding 1.44 times the design capacity, equal to the capacity of 4-5 units in the same industry.

In 2014, Viglacera Ha Long was a cotton factory in Vietnam, invested in a complete equipment line with the most modern technology from Europe (Sacmi Italy), creating a major turning point in the clay brick manufacturing industry baked in Vietnam. In particular, one of the effective solutions to be applied is the technical innovation initiative “Fired tile rack and tile stacking method” at the factory which has been applied since the end of 2018.

This solution can overcome the disadvantages of high cost, short usage time, energy consumption, the area of ​​conventional U-shaped tile stacking racks. Thereby, increasing the number of tiles to rise to 7.1%, contributing to increase productivity, quality and efficiency; at the same time, cost reduction about 65% compared to racks using U-trays.

According to Ms. Bui The Son, a worker at Tieu Giao Tile Factory, the factory workers are much less strenuous since applying this solution in baking and manufacturing tiles. It is easier to place tiles in the rack to put them in the kiln, this working time used to take about 9 hours, now it has reduced to 7 hours.

According to Mr. Nguyen Danh Nha, Deputy Foreman of the Firing Workshop, Tieu Giao Tile Factory, since the application of concrete pillars to be fired, tile production has decreased significantly. Accordingly, the machinery and equipment greatly reduce the load, the number of employees in the guttering unit, putting tiles into the kiln decreased by 40%.

Thanks to the application of new and advanced technologies in production and business, the quality of the company’s brick and tile products has been continuously improved to meet the most demanding markets. In 2019, the factory will produce about 50 million bricks, with a turnover of 400 billion VND, and ensure jobs for 825 workers with an income of VND 10 million / person / month.
