Innovation in management and technology to catch the trend

During 42 years of establishment and development, Traphaco has constantly innovated to become a famous and prestigious pharmaceutical brand in the Vietnamese market.

Currently in Vietnam, closed-eye technology eye drops are showing great prospects, especially at a time when manufacturers around the world are speeding up the application of 4.0 industrial revolution achievements. This also creates technological breakthroughs for the pharmaceutical industry in Vietnam. In 2017, Traphaco built its third factory in Van Lam (Hung Yen). Traphaco Hung Yen factory has applied modern technology meeting good production standards of the World Health Organization (GMP-WHO). Thanks to the application of modern technology, Traphaco Hung Yen factory has reached a capacity of 1.2 billion units of products per year, reducing by half the number of participants in production and operation compared to the old process but the productivity has tripled times.

The Board of Directors of Traphaco Hung Yen Factory said: The most modern BFS eye-dropper nose line in the pharmaceutical industry, the pill line with automatic and continuous technology equipment system is operated by the arm Robots meet European standards. The lines of liquid medicine, high capacity syrup is completely synchronized and connected automatically. Based on the principle of “No touch, no dust” in production (no human impact, no dust generation), the whole line is limited to the minimum of human intervention in production, no cross infection, is the optimal technology to improve product quality.

According to Mr. Mathias Ehrtmann, Director of the pharmaceutical and food industry, Rieckermann Group (German Group, specializing in providing the world’s leading pharmaceutical machinery and equipment): “BFS technology for welding and pouring welding is viewed is the world’s most advanced aseptic technology, being used by leading eye drops companies. In Vietnam, Traphaco is the pioneer company to apply this technology to the production of eye drops, making Traphaco one of the leading eye drops manufacturing companies in the world.”

With the application of BFS and robot technology in the operation of the drug production line, Traphaco Hung Yen pharmaceutical factory has become more intelligent and modern factory in Vietnam.

Applying modern technology to good production standards of the World Health Organization (GMP-WHO), By the end of 2015, the consolidated revenue of Traphaco reached 1,960 billion VND, up 18% compared to 2014, benefiting profit after tax of VND 180 billion, up 23%. With this result, the Traphaco Joint Stock Company has not only become one of the enterprises with the highest growth rates in the pharmaceutical industry, but also the leading enterprise in the pharmaceutical industry in terms of modern and effective distribution system.

Traphaco is setting quite ambitious goals, by 2020 Traphaco is the No. 1 pharmaceutical company in Vietnam in terms of revenue growth, profits, and market capitalization. From now to 2020, Traphaco aims to grow 15-33% in revenue each year. The company expects revenue of VND 4,000 billion, a 2.5-fold increase in profit, reaching VND 500 billion, and a market capitalization of VND 10,000 billion by 2020.
