Nam Kim Steel Joint Stock Company was established on December 23, 2002 at An Thanh Production Group, Thuan A town, Binh Duong province. Nam Kim specializes in manufacturing and distributing cold rolled steel, galvanized iron sheets, galvanized iron sheets and other kinds of industrial steel products. In order to meet the increasingly diverse needs of the market, in recent years, the company has focused on investing – innovating – applying advanced modern production technology with 100% new investment in current production technology. The advanced modern technology of Europe and Japan with product quality adheres to the world leading standards.

With this technology line, it is possible to cut flat steel into rolls, slitting into small rolls as required with high accuracy. Nam Kim Steel is one of the first companies in Vietnam to use the NOF (non-oxidizing flux) plating technology installed by Posco. Compared with old technology (dry flux), NOF technology has many outstanding advantages. Galvanized corrugated iron products manufactured with this technology are durable, strong, highly resistant to rust and corrosion, and have a much longer lifespan than ordinary galvanized iron products, which are resistant to efficient weather and heat resistance, meeting the requirements for large projects.

On August 27, 2016, at Nam Kim Steel Factory – Roofing sheet 03 officially put into operation the NOF technology plating line with a design capacity of 450,000 tons/year and produced the first commercial corrugated coil into Labor. Thanks to the application of a closed production process with 6 production lines, including a cold galvanizing line with a capacity of 150,000 tons/year, a color coating line with a capacity of 120,000 tons/year, a cold rolling line of 200,000 tons/year, contributing to the total the output of corrugated iron and steel will increase to 1.2 million tons per year.

Products of Nam Kim Steel distributed to the international market have been receiving high appreciation, creating trust from international customers. In the coming time, Nam Kim Steel will continue to implement the strategy to boost its production, join forces with other Vietnamese exporters to create an image of Vietnamese products with good quality, competitive prices, good service to the international market.
