The typical advanced workers are really the core and leading forces in emulation movements to promote innovations and technical innovations to increase productivity, reduce product costs and benefit agencies and business career. Typically, the initiative of the group of workers Coal Grinding Division, Thang Long Cement Joint Stock Company (Hoanh Bo district) with the initiative “Optimizing the exhaust treatment system and the solution to stabilize the fuel supply system”. Engineer Dao Ngoc Binh, Team Leader of the initiative, said: Our team has 4 people established in early 2018, all members are workers operating the coal mill. During operation, the crusher and kiln generating dust emissions are transferred to the electrostatic dust filter system. This amount of dust comes from very large raw materials of stone powder, clay, about 40 tons/hour. Through each direct dumping of dust from the exhaust treatment system into the furnace, we found that the dust from the exhaust gas system is uneven, leading to a fluctuating material level, causing the system to operate unstable. Through research, the team found that the cause was dust from the electrostatic precipitator system. Therefore, the group changed the dust removal process of the intermittent dust filter system to continuously help the dust from the filtration system to be more uniform and increase the efficiency of dust filtration.

For kiln feeding system, after reducing kiln capacity and low capacity furnace, the group found that the feed balance in the furnace was more stable. After applying the solution, the feed level is more stable than before, the raw material is easier to burn, the heat consumption is reduced, the furnace is easy to operate with higher capacity and safer.

This initiative not only increases productivity and reduces costs, but also helps the company save 13.2 billion VND annually. In addition to economic efficiency, the initiative also limits the environmental pollution, reduce dust diffused out during the production process.

Many initiatives of the labor force in the province have contributed to bring about positive results in production, such as: Initiative “Optimizing the operation of the condenser cooling water system” by Pham Xuan Tung, Company workers AES-TKV Mong Duong Power Company Limited (Cam Pha City) has helped the factory save more than VND11 billion per year. Or 8 initiatives of Mr. Tran The Tuan, Head of the Detailed Machining Team, Electromechanical Workshop, Gom DAT Viet Joint Stock Company (Dong Trieu Town), benefiting the company 1.1 billion VND/year.

The statistics of the Labor Federation showed that in 2018, the whole province had 4,485 technical innovations and solutions with a total value of over VND 208 billion. Thereby, all levels and branches of the province have commended and rewarded 4,217 typical advanced direct workers, 236 excellent teams, achieved record productivity, in which 90 typical advanced provincial workers were commended.
