Initiative to benefit hundreds of millions VND at Fresenius Kabi Company

Fresenius Kabi Vietnam is known for developing and supplying medical equipment products from glass and plastic. Currently, the company’s products are being supplied and used in many provinces and cities across the country.

Typically at Binh Dinh branch – Fresenius Kabi Corporation, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hau, Head of Glass Translation Team Of The Infusion Workshop has had many initiatives, technical improvements, effective application at work and bring many benefits to the company. One of his typical initiatives is “Renovation of rubber button vibration wheels”. With this initiative, workers do not need to use their hands to directly contact open products and products are stable in the production process. At the same time, the number of buttons damaged and lost during production decreased by 5 buttons/ 1,000 bottles to 1 button / 1,000 bottles.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung – working at PP plastic bottle blowing team is a typical worker of the innovation movement at Fresenius Kabi Vietnam JSC. After a period of working at the company, Hung began to discover the limitations of machinery during operation: When the plastic bottle blower is faulty, causing the plastic billet when inserted will be distorted, distorting the mouth of the embryo.

In sharing this with management, he was instructed to make a detailed proposal and provide funding support to make improvements. Soon after, Mr.Hung embarked on improvements, expanding the work piece guidance bar, adding a head rack, avoiding distorted work pieces. After being put into practice, this improvement has helped the company save VND 300 million, minimizing input embryo errors.

In the following years, promoting his creativity, Hung constantly launched initiatives to benefit the company such as fixing bottom molds, increasing the hardness of springs, etc. Mr. Hung shared that the biggest difficulty of implementing improvements is that the system must be stopped working for a while, which affects the working process, as well as to require about the accuracy and effectiveness that initiatives bring. This creates pressure for him as well as everyone in the team to do so. However, throughout the process of implementing the ideas, the company’s management always stands shoulder to shoulder, create all conditions, as well as recognize the contributions that Mr.Hung brings.
