Initiative to benefit billions VND at An Khang Packaging Enterprise

An Khang Packaging Enterprise is known as a leader in the innovation movements of the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor. Known as the “Innovation Tree” at the factory, Mr. Bui Thanh Nghi – Quality Manager was honored to be awarded the 19th Ton Duc Thang Award by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

After a period of getting acquainted with the work at the company, Mr. Nghi’s skills have gradually improved and he has become a positive factor of the emulation movement “Good labor, creative labor” of the enterprise. During his work here, Mr. Nghi has launched 30 innovation initiatives, improving the productivity of enterprises, benefiting the unit billions each year.

One of Mr. Nghi’s highly appreciated initiatives is “Improving the formula of the agricultural blown film from 5-layer machine to 9-layer machine”. Previously, the factory produced 5-layer film to supply cashew exporters to the European market. Although the advantages of this type of bag will help fresh products for a long time without the use of storage additives, but the bag material is not environmentally friendly. Recognizing these shortcomings, Mr. Resolution are determined to find solutions to overcome. In early 2016, he began researching 9-layer bags.

After many failed tests, Mr. Nghi also succeeded in making products and received many positive feedback from customers. 9-layer bag products not only ensure environmental factors, but can also help ensure agricultural products from 2-3 months without any preservatives or additives. This initiative not only helps enterprises have more sources of partner customers, but also helps enterprises save VND 2.4 billion per year.

In addition to his passion for creativity, Mr. Nghi is also very enthusiastic in guiding young workers in both knowledge and job processing skills. For Mr. Nghi, the achievements not only come from his personal, but also from the support and working spirit of the brothers in the group. With the achievements in the work, Mr. Bui Thanh Nghi has received many certificates of merit and certificates of merit from all levels. In particular, in 2019, he was honored to be awarded the Certificate of Merit by the People’sCommittee of Ho Chi Minh City and awarded the 19th Ton Duc Thang Award.
