These achievements have been recognized by noble awards in science and technology such as Ho Chi Minh Prize, State Award, VIFOTEC Award.
In the process of implementing science and technology tasks oriented to application in production, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has directed S&T organizations and enterprises to coordinate to deploy and efficiently use the funding from the Ministry of S&T sources. National programs / projects assigned by the Government to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to lead, with funding from the S&T development fund of enterprises. Vietnam Electricity (EVN)
In order to serve production and business activities, EVN has made a relatively comprehensive investment from infrastructure to the deployment of information technology application in management and operation.
In terms of infrastructure, EVN has built and strengthened backbone transmission network and 09 intercity rings, providing enough transmission lines for core and inter-provincial connections to serve the operation of production and business activities. of EVN. In the application of information technology, basically applying uniform professionalism in each field of the Group. Some major softwares such as: enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, completed to level 3 units, are being deployed to level 4 units; investment management system, basic construction, bidding management system; CMIS customer management system, technical management system and power plant operation have been deployed in power plants, power generation corporations, etc; grid operation and technical management system is in progress; metering data warehouse software system was officially deployed to serve metering management, upstream power delivery, boundaries for corporations, power plants, power system dispatching center and public electricity trading company, etc.
Currently, Vietnam Electricity is urgently building a Project on Research, Development and Application of Technology of the 4th Industrial Revolution in EVN’s production and business activities with focus on 3 main areas. Including: Electrical system operation, business – customer service and business administration. In particular, the Group will aim to build smart power plants, upgrade the operating system, enhance automation, digitization in customer service, etc.
Vietnam National Coal – Mineral Industry Group (VINACOMIN)
To promote the application of information technology and automation in production activities, TKV Group has developed and implemented the Action Program No. 188 / CTr-TKV and focused on promoting the application of THH, TĐH in production and management in order to improve production and business efficiency in the period of 2017 – 2020, with a vision to 2030 with a focus on implementing a number of typical projects in each field towards technology transfer, import of systems, modern technical equipment goes with research, manufacture, localization of products and equipment in accordance with the working environment of the coal industry.
Accordingly, VINACOMIN focuses on (i) Upgrading and completing IT infrastructure at the Group in the direction of increasing efficiency, ensuring system safety, in accordance with Vietnamese and international standards; (ii) Implement software for monitoring system of coal flow and complete automatic data integration at electronic weighing stations and coal quality control; (iii) Deploying the application of integrated software in coal mining design and management: planning for mining and product management at the mine; building the geological database management system; (iv) Building Sales Management software integrated with the Group’s electronic invoice management to prepare conditions for implementing the Group’s consolidated financial reporting software; (v) Building modern data centers and production operations at 02 offices in Hanoi and Ha Long; building a production management reporting system for the whole Group following the data bank model.
For Automation, VINACOMIN focuses on (i) Constructing synchronous and standardized high-speed digital communication and control network infrastructure; and (ii) Deploy automation systems in production stages: automatic ventilation and monitoring of coal mine gas safety, monitoring and control of power supply networks; automatic control and supervision of central pump tunnels, compressed air stations, wind doors; automating the main transport conveyor lines, regulating electric trains; building centralized dispatch monitoring systems, communication systems, personnel locating systems, fuel monitoring and management systems for open-pit vehicles and equipment, etc, (iii) Complete , raising the maximum level of automation in coal, bauxite, mineral processing plants, power plants, and cement plants, etc.
Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN)
PVN has a high level of technology and application of information technology, automation in production and production management. Recognizing the opportunities that the Industry 4.0 brings to the development of the industry in the coming time, the Group has been very proactive in searching information and implementing many activities.
