Improvements in Minh Nguyen are surprised CEO of Samsung HCMC

In the development strategy in the Vietnam market until 2020, Samsung has pledged to support to develop 50 level 1 suppliers for this group. Minh Nguyen Support Industry Joint Stock Company is currently a level 1 supplier to Samsung and received experts from Samsung to improve production stages.

On the morning of November 15, Mr. Kim Do Hyung – General Director of Samsung HCMC CE Complex Electronics Co., Ltd. and experts and representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City came to Minh Nguyen Company to actually audit the process of product improvement.

Mr. Long Chau Ba, General Director of the Company said: “After 3 months of improving operation with the support of two experts from Samsung, we have made really clear improvements on the molds, and processes that help minimize defective products.”

After directly surveying production stages in Minh Nguyen Company, Mr. Kim Do Hyung pointed out things that Minh Nguyen needs to do in the near future such as continuing to improve machinery to increase accuracy in products; Invest in new equipment. At the same time, he was also surprised by the improvement activities in Minh Nguyen.

“Compared to the most recent arrival, there are two things that amaze me. Firstly, Minh Nguyen has harmoniously coordinated with the experts who we sent to change the system completely. Secondly, I see the positive, the enthusiasm of the workers here. The working environment has become better and I hope that these changes will never end. According to Ms. Duy Anh Le Nguyen, Deputy Director of the Center for Industrial Development Support Ho Chi Minh City, “Minh Nguyen has to bear great pressure as required by a supply chain as the delivery time must be very low, only from 4 to 6 hours, even 2 hours instead of the previous delivery time maybe 30 days. This is one of the remarkable efforts of a Vietnamese company to be able to participate in the global supply chain.”

Mr. Long Chau Ba said: “Ho Chi Minh City Committee and the Government should have programs to coordinate with other multinational corporations such as this program to improve Vietnamese businesses in general and enterprises in supporting industries in particular, helping enterprises have made breakthroughs to reduce costs in the process of operation, create profits and develop more.”

Judging the support of Samsung, Ms. Duy Anh Le Nguyen emphasized: “Samsung is sending experts to improve Vietnamese businesses or Training Program for Vietnamese consultants is one very remarkable efforts, we appreciate it.
