On May 14th, in Hanoi, DK Marketing Company and Solari Group organized a seminar “Technical solutions to improve performance for cement plants” with the participation of experts from Swedish Hoganas Group and LNVT Company of SINOMA Group.
Currently, Vietnam’s cement industry is growing, ranked fifth in the world in terms of capacity scale and rose to the top in terms of exports in 2017. However, shortcomings in labor productivity are low. Operational capacity has not reached an advanced level, leading to limitations of the cement industry such as high production costs, limited competitiveness, unstable export efficiency.
To solve these problems, technology transfer and the acquisition of advanced technical solutions from developed countries are issues that need to be prioritized for implementation. In the spirit of cooperation and development, representatives from Sweden have in turn shared solutions to improve and upgrade equipment systems in the cement production line.
At the seminar, Mr. AKE Eriksson, Indochina Director of Hoganas Bjuf introduced its refractory products as well as installation design options such as installing 2 layers of refractory bricks to extend the time. furnace operating time, reducing furnace temperature. Hoganas Bjuf’s solutions have helped improve profits for cement plants in 70 countries around the world.
Mr. Hans Joergen Nielsen, Director of LNVT, shared at the seminar on the solution to upgrade the vertical mill and improve the separation system. LNVT has successfully improved, increasing the capacity for nearly 800 coal grinding systems, crushing raw materials increased from 10-15% capacity in more than 60 countries. Chinfon Cement Plant (Hai Phong) applied the solution of improving and upgrading the grinding mill in 2004 of LNVT, which helped increase the coal grinding capacity from 21.4 tons/1 hour to 27 tons/1 hour.
In the seminar, representatives from more than 30 cement plants in Vietnam were very interested in the solutions given by experts. Many questions have been raised and answered thoroughly. Factory representatives also share their own experiences or realities with other units for reference. In the coming time, the related units will conduct a more in-depth discussion on the technical solutions presented at the seminar, thereby strengthening a diplomatic relationship between the two countries in general and the cooperation between cement production enterprises in particular.
