Halal certification is issued by Islamic Malaysia Jabatan Kemajuan Center (JAKIM) with serial numbers A109262, A109263, A109264 together with the Halal Malaysia logo in each product confirming that the components and compartments are used in SK products. - On July 24, 2019, Middle East Joint Stock Company was granted Halal certificate (address of the company in Tam Phuoc 1 Industrial Park, Tam Phuoc, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai), the one-year certification period from 7/2019 to 7/2020. Certificates are granted for products: PP packaging, PP film packing with 1-sided film, PP packaging with double-sided film, PP packaging with MCPP film.
Conditions for HALAL certification
Enterprises that have been granted HACCP or ISO 22000: 2005 certificates are easier to deploy with Halal certification. Enterprises that have not yet achieved, will consider through the actual evaluation to have specific instructions on:
1) Cleaning workshops, cleaning equipment
2) Personal hygiene
3) The process of producing food to ensure the production environment is “pure” to avoid cross-contamination, etc.
Currently, Vietnam has 20 potential export products for the Halal market, including green coffee, ground rice, cashew nuts, pepper, fresh fruits, coffee extract, processed food, and coffee. roasted, dried cassava, nuts, processed fruits, cakes, tea, sugary candies, animal feed, natural honey, cinnamon, non-alcoholic beverages, flour and fruit juices.
