From the first days of establishment (September 2008), Hai Van paint Co.,Ltd has made sustainable steps on creating the brand by company’s efforts, whole heartedly building the company with the development steps, trusted and supported by customers for Hai Van paint products.
In 2015, the company has built and operated the Quality management system according to ISO 9001-2015 and was certified by the Appropriate Certification Center (QUACERT) under the General Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality on March, 10th 2016.
In 2018, Hai Van paint received the consultant of EPRO Consulting in implementing 5S Good Practice. This is one of the programs of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to support manufacturing companies to improve productivity and quality of products and goods. From the beginning of June 2016, Hai Van paint Co.,Ltd. has learned and implemented 5S with high awareness, because the whole company is aware of the effects of 5S on each person, each department and all company.
On June 30, 2016, the company officially launched the 5S Good Practice program with the participation of representatives of EPRO Consulting and Director of company.
Before applying 5S, materials and document are still very messy, when you need to find it to use it takes a lot of time even if you don’t know where it is located. But when starting to implement 5S, through screening and rearrangement, everything becomes easier and more convenient. Since applying 5S, after each working day, teams and departments have taken 5-10 minutes to clean and clean their workplaces to keep machines, equipment and factories clean.
The leadership always urged the whole company to maintain the first 3S well, to do well to achieve 5S certification. With the efforts of the company’s staff, the urging and prompting of the Board of Directors, after 6 months of implementing 5S, the company was granted 5S certification by Ministry of Industry and Trade on December 20, 2016. This is a proof to prove the determination to innovate, make the company sustainable development, green environment, clean, friendly people.
On June 29, the company held a preliminary review of the first 6 months of 2019 of implementing 5S and awarding awards to the teams that achieved achievements, and also preliminarily review the business results of the first six months of the year. Although personnel decreased to 33/35 compared to the same period in 2018, labor productivity still increased by 10%, revenue increased by 9%. Striving to increase labor productivity by 12% by the end of the year, revenue by 15% compared to 2018.
With 5S platform, the company is now applying the overall equipment maintenance (TPM) management method to improve the efficiency and working efficiency of hook, equipment, and continuous improvement in production to market Hai Van paint products of high quality, increase competitiveness, proceed to integrate 4.0 revolution.
