Ha Tinh: From a typical carpenter into an advanced worker in production

Although he only studied intermediate carpentry, Mr. Nguyen Huu Phuc in Nghi Xuan – Ha Tinh did his own research on the machines himself, giving rise to many valuable initiatives.

In addition to trying to complete the assigned tasks, Mr. Phuc took advantage of his spare time, outside working hours to learn about the features of the machines and improve them to suit reality conditions production.

Mr. Phuc said: “The machines with original designs, sometimes not suitable with the actual production situation of the company, make productivity not high, costly time and manpower. I have been studying for myself by carefully studying the catalogs of manuals of machines, learning more through technical books and internet to understand the features and operating principles of each type machine”.

After a while working and studying by himself, Phuc conquered most of the machines available in the factory. Typically, a simple hand-held circular saw has been improved by some of his technical details to create a multi-function circular saw that can handle complex techniques such as shapes cutting, corners cutting, bend, lathe, etc.

In order to reduce the time, effort and increase the quality of wood products, Mr. Phuc has also studied the application of straight wood to curved wood. This initiative aims to combat the warping of wood on the principle of contraction, making the finished products more accurate and sharper.

Mr. Phuc shared: “Technical improvement is not only to benefit enterprises in the production process but also to the interests of customers”.

Also from that motto, Mr. Phuc is trusted by the company’s leaders to design and manufacture prototype products for mass production. Phuc’s sample products are always highly technically and aesthetically pleasing with improvements in the direction of safety, customer friendliness.

Mr. Le Thi Kim Hoa, Deputy Director of the Company, said: “For 12 years working at the company, we appreciate the specialization and especially admire Mr. Phuc in the spirit of self-study and self-research. His initiatives have greatly benefited the production process, contributing to branding of businesses in the market ”.

In addition to successfully fulfilling the role of Head of Embryo and managing 40 workers, he also enthusiastically guides new techniques, imparting experience to the members in the company. Mr. Phuc is loved by everyone for his enthusiasm, not being afraid of difficulties, suffering and contributing to the community.

However, he still modestly said: “My successes today are the efforts of both the workers and employees and the company’s leaders. I only contribute a small part of my effort and intellect to build a growing company.”

Recognizing Mr. Phuc’s contribution in the movement of creative labor, leaders of An Hong Joint Stock Company and Nghi Xuan District Labor Union proposed the provincial Labor Federation praised at the advanced typical conference among workers and employees, labors of the whole province in the period of 2015 – 2020 will be held in the coming time.

An Hong Joint Stock Company was established in 2005, currently has over 70 employees working in the field of manufacturing and trading school equipment, office furniture, family, etc, from wood; revenue reached nearly 10 billion / year. The company union was established in 2016, operates quite actively, taking care of the material and spiritual life for union members and dozens of employees in the company.
